Many people who are interested in getting a tattoo have a few questions about what will happen before, during and after the process.  Here we will try to answer most of  the questions we are frequently asked. If there is something not answered here please feel free to contact us.
Q. Does it hurt to have a tattoo done?
A.
Yes. Don't let anyone tell you it doesn't. How much it hurts depends on you, your pain barrier, your skin tone, the type of tattoo you are having done and many other aspects. Some people describe it as a tickle or a scratch while others think it is sheer hell . Remember, if it didn't hurt then everyone would have one.
Q. I've seen something I would like done, but I'm not 100% sure, shall i have it done anyway
A.
No. Photocopy it/Print it out, look at it every day before you go to sleep and when you wake up and study it for a few weeks. If you're sure after that then go for it. Remember its more expensive to have a tattoo removed.
Q. How do you ensure your equipment is clean?
A.
We do everything possible to make sure out equipment is clean. New needles are used for each sitting and used only ONCE before being disposed of and taken away by Local Health authority services for incineration. Ink is taken from small, disposable cups and disposable latex gloves are worn during the whole process. A fresh disposable cover is put on our chain for each sitting.
Q. Do you have to be licensed to carry out tattooing?
A.
Yes we are registered with our Local Authority who have inspected, and passed our studio and hygiene procedures.
Q. How long does it take to heal, what do I have to do?
A.
A tattoo normally takes 7-14 days to heal, depending on your health and the type/location of the tattoo. We give a full aftercare guide with every tattoo and explain the best way to look after it and the Do's and Don't's (An aftercare guide is also available on the site).
Q. How old do I have to be to have a Tattoo?
A.
You must be at least 18 years old. We will not tattoo anyone under this age, or who we think may be under this age. Bring ID if you think you may need it.
